A Word From Our Pastor

I am glad that you have found our church web site. It would also be my pleasure and joy if you would join us for our services. Our services are times of worship, instruction and fellowship. Our people are friendly and welcoming.

My goal as a pastor is to preach and teach the Word of God faithfully in such a way that you will understand and respond to God’s truth. Every sermon is given in order to present “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). My aim is to introduce Jesus Christ to each person who joins us and to make the Word of God applicable to everyday living.

We have Sunday School for adults and children. This is a time to receive instruction in God’s Word in a classroom-like setting.

We also strive to have music that is both heart-warming and instructional. Our services include music that is uplifting and soul-searching, hymns and Gospel songs that honor the Lord and encourage the soul. We use hymnbooks, accompanied by piano and organ.

The Wednesday night service is primarily a time of corporate prayer, in which personal, church and national concerns are brought to the Lord in prayer. A short Bible challenge is also included.
